Sugar Kane and Gentlemen
Mortal
Sinclair Mansion
She was laughing and the diamond choker at her slender throat threw sparkles
about her shoulders. She was warm and inviting and vivacious. Even as
death walked about the room and congregated about her, she radiated life.
One could smell the dewy wetness of lust and joy on her flushed skin.
She was still laughing.
Someone, a dapper fellow in a suit had told Sugar a joke. It wasn't a
particularly funny joke but she had taken pity on him and laughed anyways.
Oddly enough, if anyone was listening to the conversation she was making, it
was rather smart and witty. Just enough to keep the gentlemen intrigued,
but not overwhelmed. The young Gothamite was in her element and there was
nothing more she loved to do more than dress-up and hit a party.
Tonight she was trying to behave herself however.
Ettienne hadn't heard about her mischief and things were looking great.
Sugar was in a good mood as she took a sip of her Manhattan and caught the
slender, graceful slide of Ettienne himself. Her grey eyes sparkled almost
as brightly as the baubles she wore and a subtle hint of smoky trouble
filled the air around her.
