>>> "Kurt Morgan at your service Mr. Nekos. A Pleasure to meet a man

"Dr. Nekos, actually," Stephen sneaks in with a teasing smirk as he
shakes Morgan's hand, "but Stephen will do just fine." Obtaining his
doctorate was stressful and costly; he'd be damned if he didn't get
to use it!

Stephen nods approvingly at the comment, finding that the truth of
Abby's words leaves little to say in reply. He is, however, reminded
of his lack of a drink as John sips his beer . . . that'll have to be
remedied as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

"It's quite refreshing to be in the company of such insightful
individuals; my colleagues are more often than not shortsighted and
so very literal. It makes for . . . limited conversation."
He turns to John. "Do old relics like that turn up often in your
shop? You had called it a bookstore, so I'd have thought that you
deal generally with occult texts and the like."
