"Several individuals have dropped hints about a stock
offering.  I don't know what the official excuse for
the party is, not that one is ever necessary, but it
looks like some of the power players are trying to
make new friends and collect resources at the same
time by offering an insiders tip."

He shrugged.  John really wasn't interested in it but
he wondered if it wasn't completely wreckless to
ignore the offering.  He operated three dynasties, and
while he believed the Stone family were flush with
resources, no point in getting lazy.

"It's a topic I almost feel compelled to look into, no
matter how uninteresting it might be."  He glanced at
Abby and shrugged.

"But what about you?  What is it you do?  Abby and I
have met many interesting people this evening, some
more so than others," again a glance at Morgan, "and
I'm curious how you might fit in."
