Tellos, Harlequin, [and others in the club]
Dhampir, Vampires
Club Harlequin

>The Harlequin grinned from ear to ear. Tonight was turning out to be quiet
>educational. Not only had he met an actual Dhampir and proven the Gyspsy
>legend to be true, but this one was just so damned entertaining. Of course
>the Harlequin had known about Tellos's existence for quite some time, after
>all he'd been the one to play deep throat for the kid, but this was the
>first time they'd met face to face.

>The determination and the hate were impossible to miss, a definate merit.
>But the attitude was going to be a problem, his belief in his self so
>completely outsripped his actual abilities and it was probably just luck
>he'd got this far. He'd be no fun if he juet went ot and got himself killed
>too quickly. Vampire hunters really did ought to read Moby Dick. Or watch
>the movie if they, like the Harlequin, couldn't read. The Gregory Peck
>version was his personal favourite.
>
>The mention of Kinkaid soured his mood a little, and it showed in his face.
>This was his game and that third rate amatuer better keep his sticky
>fingers out of it.
>
>"It's not just targets you gotta learn to be choosy about kid!" The Vampire
>replied. "You just marched up to a bar full of us and declared war on us
>all. Maybe you've gotten lucky and killed a few small fry, but don't let it
>go to your head kid, you gotta stay off the radar. There's a reason the
>Gazelle don't march up and spit in the lions face after all."
>
>He glances around but the others were out of earshot, so he continued.
>
>"That one's for free, coz you amuse me. You got some balls and I've been
>the mouse that roared myself in the past. You want Montenegro, well you're
>doing the world a favour and that should buy you a few karma points if the
>Universe is watching. But don't let the Vamps you met before fool you, this
>war you started .. or they started, is gonna get bigger. Montenegro, he has
>minions on his minions. Power too. Real power that could kill you at a
>distance. Or worse ... death can be a blessed relief at times kid once
>you've met a real vampire." He appeared to think for a moment. "You're not
>the patient type are you?"

"Trust me your likely the first to know fully what I am in this city." He
quietly said. "I am not patient no but only out of need. I learned no place
is ever truely safe day or night from your kind and those sell out ghouls. I
have worked my way up the chain to that Magic weilding moron whom likely
doesint know I am even still alive after all this time. An edge I also
definatly will not strike at him directly first. Have to blind him take out
the pawns who get him what he needs."

He thought a moment and decided to change the direction things were going
before this slick vampire took all his tactics from under him. "I will say
he started this war and none of you were there to even stop those events so.
I hold all accountible but others more so." He noted his displessure at the
name Kinkaid. His first two chinks perhaps. "Now Montenegro and Kinkaid
obvious aint your two best poker buddies, and Kinkaid is as slick as he is
dead so I wouldint trust him so far as I could throw him. I know that the
rooms filled with your kind tonight I saw that as I walked in. Again your
kind can't hide from me in any way. I also have started finding some rather
predictible patterns about your kind. I don't just hunt trust me I also
watch and each new bit of info I get is worth more than money can buy." Kept
his tone low so only hopefuly this one could hear him.

"And since you gave me a boon I will give you a clue. A year ago a man and
all he loved vanished in a night but his name still rings to this night. The
name will be my battlecry. The name. Remarl." With that clue he grinned and
silently watched. He figured he could find possibly old allies of his
fathers and maybe garner support but it was a risk and a long shot but then
again so was this whole darn gig.
