 Malone looks a little uncertain.
 
 "I guess yeah. Use your common sense, and stay safe."

She smiled at him taking notice of his uncetainty. 

"Allen in Manhatan Murder Myster and Bogart in The Maltese Falcon."

she paused but only for a moment

"So... now? I mean..."

She looks around the bar, still no idea of the time of night at this point.

"Malone, I can't even tell the time in this place any longer."

She smiled again, finding the humour in the absurdity of life in that one 
brief statment.

"Ya' know and this will be the only time in your life so..."

She looked up at him. Now a different, sly smile came to her

"enjoy it. Just tell me what - now? Should I go find them now and see if 
anything can be learned or what?" 

she looked away momentarily but then back to him

"tell me what you want me to do, sir, commander, lieutenent, detective. What 
were you?"

that was clearly two things at once but he was becoming a little more used to 
that as time went on. The first bit was a joke at least the sir, etc. She had 
issues with authority figures but she respected Malone and therefor would 
listen to him this time anyway.
