<< "do you know what Hannibal is? The guy that owns the lachramatory or
whatever
 it's called."

"Not right!" Jaywick said as he waddled past on the other side of the bar.
To Jaywick there was no such thing as a private conversation, because if there
was we'd all have been born telepathic. Malone snorted with amusement.

She smiled as well.

"Our rotund friend is right!" he replied. "Hannibaal Kinkaid has been in the
thick of several unfortunate events, but has never once seen the inside of a
police cell as far as I am aware. Despite the constant flow of drugs and
catamites through his establishment, it all just slides off him like water off a
ducks back. The Glamour that hangs from his is both dark and wonderous, leading
me to suspect he is one of the Undead perhaps, or something worse." he pondered
for a moment, finishing his drink. "If your friend Max and his Oathcircle
like him as much as they do, I'd risk money that he is a vampire. The Sluagh and
the 'caps have always been drawn to the children of Lilith!"

She rolled her eyes and smiled again.

"Their just... young."

She looked back up at him and somewhere in the middle her eyes went back out
into the bar.

"I don't quit understand the thrill of being close to death any longer."

It didn't seem that they really liked him exactly. It was more of a strange
admiration that often came with youth, so she thought, that desire to feel
alive or at least that's what they thought it was but in reality it was just being
closer to death. A man like that, even with the little experience she had
with him, was one to stay clear of if possible because apparently he knew too
much, things one should never need to know.

She picked up the glass of wine from the bar and drank from it. She took only
a small drink. In any other bar she wouldn't have left it unattended as much
but given where she was and with Malone right there and Jaywick never that far
off she figured she was safe. Despite that reasoning she took a small drink
at first not that anyone would notice this rational but she was making sure it
tasted the same for the usual drugs one might be slipped changed the taste of
something drastically, 'ruffies' being prime suspect made things saltier than
the ocean. As to why she knew these things... well, she had been fostered by,
more appropriately as a satyr. Tasting, seeing, nor smelling anything out of
the ordinary she took a real drink.

"so when do I start?"

She was really trying to get something a little more concrete than she had
been given thus far, which should in the bit of hesitation in her question. She
really did need Malone to tell her what to do. Interviewing and interrogating
weren't her strong points. She needed a character to be. If she could create a
character for this she could do it, make it a movie and everything would be
fine. Of course she couldn't be someone else with Max and his Oathcircle but
still a character would help. And she didn't think she'd need to be anyone but
herself with this girl Malone mentioned but still she needed something. He used
to be a cop, right? he should know something. Right? on top of all of that
she really had no idea what time it was. It had gotten harder and harder to tell
in the few short nights she had been here because the people were coming
early and staying late. Things weren't quit like the normal bar but then again
Raindogs wasn't the average bar to begin with.

She really did want him to... well... to act like the lieutenant he is...
was... at least to start her out. It was oddly sexy or would be anyway and
perhaps not even that odd. She was a strong woman and therefor it only made sense
that... It was or would be... What would have been their first kiss if it
weren't for... her mind had started to run through a thousand things at once again
circling quickly to one side of her being, that side that was starting to
breathe a little in frustration. She was impatient when it came to... well,
honestly a lot of things. Afterall she was a creature of passion. Her stance changed
a little bit, just slightly. She had been simply relaxed before but that
natural sensuality not completely forgotten. It couldn't be. Now the curves of her
body were just a little more acentuated then before and meant certainly for
Malone. It was only a slight change, however. That being said Malone would
probably notice anyway but few else would.

"...and where?"

...tag...

OOC: Sorry I totally forgot she had a glass of wine in her hand but... moving
on, things have been fixed sort of.

Oh and I don't know that she knows he was a lieutenant so it's not meant to
be as if she does. It's just what came to mind as I was writing.
