Alessa returns his smile, pleased that she has
succeeded in creating a small dent in Montoya's
formidable armor.

Out of the corner of her eye, the Tzimisce sees Louis
Crosby - whom she has met previously on her fateful
first night out in Gotham - and a dark-haired woman -
whom she has not.  She is quick to spot her own kind,
but there is something of an intriguing air about this
one.

She turns to greet Crosby. "How good it is to see you
again, and in a much different venue from the Ravnos'
nightclub, would you not say?"
