  John frowned but took the drink and managed to place
  it on the tray of a passing waiter.  "Bring me
  another."  His voice was sharp and curt, like a man
  accustomed to giving orders.  He turned back to Abby
  and Morgan.
   
  "I leave for a moment and another man has you
  swooning."  There was no jealousy in his voice; maybe
  a touch of concern.  "I hope you're not going to
  betwitch the rest of the ladies, Mr. Morgan.  I'd hate
  for the party to end early or a fight to break out. 
  One of the guests might get hurt."
   
  It was obvious from John's tone that he knew Morgan
  wouldn't be one of them.
   
  She closes her eyes, trying to Will away the echo of the Other in her Soul. She might as well try banishing her reflection.
  Concentrate on the Here and Now.  I doubt he knows Gaelic much less that Courtly stuff  you was usin’ earlier.
  She opens her eyes again,  at least she had control of her tongue.
   
  “John, it’s all right, just feelin a bit
not quite myself.”
