>Aurora appreciates the out, she'd felt obligated to Mara and the man.
She smiles at Mitsuko.  "Mara, Mr. Crosby, if you'll excuse me."  She
releases herself gently and watches as they go off elsewhere.

Mara nods to Aurora, secretly rather glad that they were leaving; it left her with the opportunity to be alone with the Prince and discuss matters of some import.  

>"I think that could be arranged my Dear!" he replies softly. "Arthur was too visionary a man to allow his company to become lost among Benent's banks or Goth Corp's subsiduaries."

"Ah good.  My stockbroker's been after me to diversify my holdings for a while now."  She offers quietly.  "I'm not familiar with the current price of the stock,"  But she was betting that Guinesses' death could have sent it into a tailspin.  "Depending on what it is, and how many total shares are available, I'd like to purchase between eleven and eleven hundred shares."

>They came to the landing with Allessandra and the Prince, met first by Devlin who went immediatly into PR mode. "Good evening Mara, Lious. Delightful to see you both here!"

How quick she is to step in and run interference for the Prince.  Mara thinks quietly.  Once again, Mara matches informality with informality, and addresses the Prince's Childe by her first name.  Perhaps she would take the hint, perhaps she was clueless at social niceties.  

"Good evening Devlin."  She is tempted to switch to Spanish, but it was rather rude to speak a foreign language in front of those who didn't understand it.  "A pleasure to see you and Montoya again."  She leans in and offers a softly spoken inquiry to the girl.  "Tell me, who is that enchanting woman with the Prince?"  Est prévenu forearmed*, as her Mentor used to say.
