Still smoking Arkana takes note of Mara's mannerisms and her words, but of
nothing much else, and follows her gestures leading her into the storage
area. A smirk appears in her face when Mara mentions the bareness of the
unit, "Well, I really am not ased in the last way about such things,
really", her reply almost monotonous in it's fluxuations.

Mara smiles.  Her Sire always preferred safety to comfort, and as he liked to remind her, it had helped him survive more than two hundred years, no small feat for those of her Clan.  Perhaps they had more in common than she thought.

Mara activates her Auspex and listens intently to the tape, trying not only to make out the chanting, but also any other sounds captured by the tape.  It was not a language she was familiar with, didn't sound even vaguely like Latin, so that eliminated the priest, despite the religious overtones.   So that meant a call to Panic.  

She looks at Arkana and shakes her head.  "Definitely sounds religious in nature, some sort of worship, I'd guess.  I might know someone that can help.  You busy the rest of the night?"   Mara did have one more errand, if she could swing it, a trip to buy an evening gown for Sinclair's party tomorrow.

[ooc: OK this is the description our ST wrote about what Arkana mad out the
chanting to be:-  they can make out chanting. The language is unrecognisable
but the religious overtones quite certain.
