By the time Sugar had made it back to her apartment, it was well past dark
and her lavish lodgings had been invaded by expensive jewelry and several
designer gowns on loan.  The starlet rushed to get out of her damp trench
coat and dumped her heavy purse on a nearby couch.

Without any grace she hopped from one foot to the other as clothing was
pulled from her curvy body.  It ended up abandonned on the floor where it
fell.  Dirty shoes tipped over on the white carpet and the dirt from the
other end of town filled her apartment.

Thirty minutes later she emerged from a scorching hot shower, her hair swept
upwards in an array of elegant waves and curls.  Pouty lips were painted an
impossible shade of claret and her eyes were a deep rich smokey blue.

The dress she'd picked up from the bed was a tasteful black number from the
front.  However, it was a whole other story when viewed from the back.  The
cloth hung dangerously low above her round buttocks and she knew men would
hope and pray it slipped that half an inch lower all night. It's slinky
fabric was heavy against her warm skin.

With strappy black heels and a thick diamond choker, Sugar could hardly pry
herself away from the mirror.  How easy it was to entrall with only a taste
of money.

However, she wasn't looking forward to meeting with Ettienne.  No doubt he'd
gotten some kind of word of her activies and she was furious he hadn't be
around during her ordeal.  What else could have been so bloody important...

Sugar arrived to the party without a man on her arm and she liked it that
way.  There was something comforting in knowing a man thought she was
available no matter who she was with.  The one thing Sugar liked more than
money and pretty necklaces was attention.

Passing the security checks, she handed off her coat and moved into the
growing crowd of people.  Her come-hither gaze constantly scanned the crowd
for a familiar face, or even just a handsome one.
