The Streets around his current residence were busy as usual, busy in as much as they were full of people with no interest in each other or in him hurrying to their own locations with their heads down.

Things over in Chinatown had begun to settle and the Oriental Tongs were no longer  a common sight on the streets of Downtown. the same was true of the gang wars in darktown. For the past two days and nights, the low rentsville ghetto had been peaceful. Peaceful for the ghetto at least.

Now the streets were less fraught with danger, Tellos was sure that the uptown Vampires would start to show their faces again. the ones who liked to slum it and feed away from their appointed territories would start to hunt the rack again and to plague the lost and the forgotten. Such creatures were breaking some sort of unwritten law when they did so, that much he had pieced together. they were acting alone for the most part and had less protection, were further from their lairs.

All he had to do was watch the shadows ... and prey he got lucky.
