Arkana..     Mara
pair of Brujah's

After picking up the band's performance cheque for last night, left
conveniently with the bartender at The Lachrymatory, Arkana figures she
doesn't have much time left before she needs to meet Mara, and she wouldn't
want to keep her waiting.

*Mara goes to the front of the building to wait for Arkana, her phone still
on, and scanning the road for signs of Arkana's bike.  As Mara awaits the
arrival of her Clan mate, her cell phone rings.  She looks at the caller id.
 Crosby Industries, it read.  Mara smiles.  Ventrue were always so
very...prompt.  One of their few good qualities.

Arkana's bike can be heard loud and clear she stops it a good way from the
same car she was about to wreck only a few hours earlier.  As she approaches
the car she notices Mara seems to be talking, and not to her, so she waits
for her to hang up. Producing a cigarette box from her bag she lights a
joint and takes a look around at this mini storage.

For a few moments she observes Mara, her silhouette actually, and the glint
of the dim street lamp above them, refracting onto the car's windshield and
illuminating the street in a urine colored glow, not unlike that of an
unflushed toilet. Two Brujah's so different, Arkana wonders while she might
seem like the typical Brujah she definately was no rebel, without a cause,
and whilst Mara seemed so unlike the typical Brujah she most definately had
that wild streak about her, the pvc clad girl continued to smoke her joint
peacefully relishing the heady effect and continues to observe the area
around them.  It was so quiet and the streets seemed deserted save for a few
drunks and perverts hidden in the allies and the rustling of stray garbage
blown away by the wind and fluttering idly to, fro, up and down and most
certainly random. Or not.
