Carthephius keeps his smile relaxed, but hearing the
language of the Republic, or the Empire, brings a
warmth and comfort to him similar to what he felt last
night when he found out Felicia was in town. He
pauses before he answers when someone sneaks up behind
him and addresses another of the ladies.

Michael smiled in return, his eyes flashing with
suppressed amusement
as he
reached back in his memory for the right words, "<Most
Holy Asura, may
I
introduce the...>" He paused for a moment, searching
for a word,
"<Chatelaine [or whatever the ancient Indian
equivalent is, he's making
sure
Tess is marked as very important to Panic and an
integral part of his
household] of the Guru Panic's Ashram, and my very old
friend and
companion,
Tess>."

"I am rude to her however," he nodded to Tess, "Tess,
may I introduce
Columbine, the Harlequin's consort. I missed the names
of her
companions the
other night however."

He pauses for a moment, then looks at Nekhen. <John
Black. We will need to talk. Two other members of
our Society are in town, and one may be in trouble.
But for a brief instant, lets enjoy the surprise of
two old friends runnign into each other.>

His words were warm and friendly. It was good to see
Babe again.

Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died. -- Stephen Wright
