Alessandra sighed heavily. Stefan’s purpose - his
mission - was all too clear.

“I will not change my mind, sir, and if you attempt to
bring me back to Vasile by force, you will greatly
regret it.  I beg you now, to leave me in peace.”

There was a hint of red in the Tzimisce’s dark eyes.
