John briefly glanced at Columbine, as if noticing her
for the first time.  That she was staking claim didn't
matter to him.  There was no reason to believe that
the Society would have any problem with Urmen any more
than it would have a problem with the occult shop John
owned and ran, Mike's Place.

But, she was a leech.  He wished Nekhen wasn't hanging
out with that type, but they were close enough for him
to realize it wasn't his place to judge or even
question.  It wasn't any of his business.

He addressed Babe in Latin.  <Is it a coincidence that
there are four of us in the city?  You're here.  I ran
into Emuishere, who's under the alias of Felicia
again.  She got cryptic when I asked what she was
doing in Gotham.  She does love her mind games.  
Maata-f-em-seshet is in the other room.  Looks like
shit too.  Too much gambling, I think.>
