"I do not know the area well," Nez said to Ahlone, "but I have no doubt 
that my companions do."

Others may put down the Bone Gnawers, but when it came to dealing with 
the depths of the city, there was no one she'd rather work with.

Nez translated for the others, then waited for their input.
