[Christine]
Christine stares at Tom. The nausea and ringing in her ears are  
passing, fortunately, but the unwanted bouts of Sight have left her  
feeling as though she has been turned inside out - all energy and  
vitality wrung from her. As Tom slowly steps toward her, Christine no  
longer actually cares if he's dangerous or not. It's not like there's  
anything she could do about it.

"You didn't know?" Christine asks. She tries to formulate the words  
to explain what she saw in all its detail and gives up. That's too  
hard, right now. "I can show you," she says. "But it often upsets  
people when I do. Not sure it always works either." The redhead holds  
out a slim hand to Tom; she has clean oval fingernails, smooth, pale  
skin, wears no rings.

Christine turns her head to look at the priest, hand still  
outstretched to Tom.  She manages a faint smile. Bellamy looks even  
wearier than she feels. Poor guy. No rest for the righteous. It  
doesn't seem fair.

"Yes, Father. Least I think so. This guy has come to see you. I don't  
think he is dangerous but he is, er . . . unusual. And I just need  
somewhere to stay tonight. I'll help out with the shelter in the  
morning in return. Is that alright?"
