Two "old" friends

John had taken his leave of Babe and the others.  He
couldn't help but regret leaving so soon, but his
conscience wouldn't allow him to remain any longer
without checking on Matt or Snake Eyes as he was
calling himself these days.

John also knew him as Maata-f-em-seshet.  While they
were not necessarily friends, they were still comrades
and allies, Brothers in the Society of the Perfect
Friend.

John walked into the room and just stood there for a
moment, slowly absorbing the entire scene.  After a
moment, he finally said "It is a night full of
surprises.  How are you doing, Matt?"
